Crop a photo to TikTok size
TikTok is also 9:16 at 1080x1920. The right-hand button column and the caption cover a large share of the frame, so anything that must be read belongs in the upper middle.

Worth knowing at this size
- The right-hand button column takes about 20 percent of the width, so keep text out of the rightmost 216px at 1080 wide.
- The caption can run to two lines. Leaving the bottom 384px clear, a fifth of the height, is the safe choice.
- Photo mode slideshows use the same 9:16. Matching every slide to 1080x1920 stops the frame jumping as they advance.
- The app re-compresses on upload. Even a PNG comes out different, so build it sharp enough to survive one more pass.
- For landscape photos, fill rather than crop. Cutting a landscape shot to 9:16 throws away more than half its width.

Questions
Is my photo uploaded anywhere?
No. From the moment you pick a file until you save it, everything happens in this tab. Disconnect from the internet and the editor still works.
Does asking for a bigger size ruin the quality?
Only if you use Fill, which scales the photo up. Fit inside and Crop leave the original untouched and add background around it, so nothing softens.
My iPhone photo (HEIC) will not open
Browsers cannot read HEIC. Set your camera format to Most Compatible in iPhone settings, or convert to JPG when sharing the photo.
Can I overlay a Reels or Shorts interface frame?
We do not ship frames that copy an app's interface. Instead there is a safe area guide that marks in grey where buttons and captions sit. The guide is never part of the saved file.
Is it free?
Yes. No account, no watermark. Ads on the page cover the running costs.
