Crop a photo to ID photo 3x4cm size
The pixel size of a 3x4cm print at 300dpi. If the original is smaller, filling the background to reach the size keeps more detail than scaling up.

Worth knowing at this size
- A passport photo is a different size — 3.5x4.5cm, or 413x531px at 300dpi. Check which one you need first.
- Most offices want a plain white or light grey background, so fill with a flat colour rather than sampling the original.
- The face usually occupies around 70 percent of the height, with a little clearance above the head.
- If the original is under 354x472, fill the background to reach the size rather than scaling up. Print shows enlargement far more plainly than a screen.
- Send the print shop a lossless PNG. Re-saving as JPG repeatedly leaves compression artefacts along the face.

Questions
Is my photo uploaded anywhere?
No. From the moment you pick a file until you save it, everything happens in this tab. Disconnect from the internet and the editor still works.
Does asking for a bigger size ruin the quality?
Only if you use Fill, which scales the photo up. Fit inside and Crop leave the original untouched and add background around it, so nothing softens.
My iPhone photo (HEIC) will not open
Browsers cannot read HEIC. Set your camera format to Most Compatible in iPhone settings, or convert to JPG when sharing the photo.
Can I overlay a Reels or Shorts interface frame?
We do not ship frames that copy an app's interface. Instead there is a safe area guide that marks in grey where buttons and captions sit. The guide is never part of the saved file.
Is it free?
Yes. No account, no watermark. Ads on the page cover the running costs.
